I learned it was unloaded off the railcar this morning at 1am about 2 hours south of me in Cayce, SC. So it is now awaiting a truck carrier to transport it to my dealer.
My truck has been sitting in East St. Louis yard since Monday. Is there any way to track it since it is not on a railcar (assuming)? I have been calling Ford CS, but they can only tell me it's in East St. Louis, and not knowing when it will be on the move again? Thanks for responses.
I had a soft roll up tonneau cover on my F150 and took it thru auto car washes with no problem. Now, these were always 'touchless' car washes, so never had a problem. I never checked to see if there was water that leaked into the bed, but never a big deal since I did not carry stuff that could...
Looks GREAT!
If I may ask, was it about $3500? I think that is what the Ford site states?
I want one, but will have to sell more stuff once I get my truck later this month!
I've ordered these, I like the way there is coverage underneath the gas pedal. I have seen some that don't have coverage there. My truck is being shipped, supposed to have it the end of the month!
My original build week was 8/22, then 8/29, then 9/5, then 9/19, then build 'day' of 9/24, and it was built on 9/26. It is now in transit, CS said it was in St. Louis yesterday, but not on a rail. It's hard to be patient, but we'll get our Mav's soon!
I traded in my 2018 F150 for the Maverick. The F150 was my first truck, really liked it, but just too much truck for me and my needs. One of the reasons we moved south was the snow. We had lived the past 21 years in Traverse City when we moved south. I retired, so time to move south.
You must be going nuts waiting so long since it was built? Mine is also VB, Lariat Lux Hybrid. First hybrid I will own. Don't need AWD down here in SC, though last Jan. we did get 6" one night, shut down everything. They don't plow the roads, you just hunker down and 'ride the storm out!'
It was called 'All American Ford' when I bought my EXP. Took awhile to recall, since it has had many name changes over the years. We still have family members throughout the area.
I called Ford CS yesterday after I received your info, asking for the railcar initials. They said it wasn't on a railcar, but that it was in St. Louis. They didn't know how soon it would be in-transit again, or if by train or carrier truck? Getting closer though!
My wife graduated from Authur Hill in 1969. I graduated from St. Charles High in 1975. Our first house was on Mason down by the VA hospital. We moved from Saginaw in 1992, due to me getting a job in Metro Detroit. Lots of memories there! My first new car was a 1984 Ford EXP, bought from the Ford...
