Thank you. I took the sheilds off and thru them in the trash where they belong. Very poor location for the evap can Ford. Dont go off roading with a Maverick. I heard a bang driving home then the light came on. Mine might have blown a line off.
Gonna need to see some dyno pulls. I find it hard to believe this little 4 banger needs 3 inch pipe anywhere. The v8 half tons only use 2.5. I have had many vehicles in the past with these straight thru baffled mufflers and they will drive you crazy with noise.
I cant get up my driveway in snow without it. Not a must have in the snow belt but does make the drive much easier. Resale value in the region will be much higher also.
Injector stuck open after the truck is shut off? The older dyramax diesels filled the crank case with fuel when the injectors failed. Lot of guys bent the cranks over that.
Anyone else have this failure? Service cant get me in till the 30th and Im the 2nd person they have had with this issue. Would just fix myself if parts not required.
Just did a trip to Canada and back 430 miles each way got 31.4 . With cruise set at 75 mpg at 1900 rpm it sits at 29.6mpg for the 305 miles thru Maine. 50 mph roads on both ends of the trip bring the mpg up.
