currently the only vehicles capable of doing what you want are the ones with blue cruise active on them. that is the only time I have seen the cluster say auto resume for adaptive cruise. meaning currently that is not a capability of the maverick at this time but with how ford just made all...
The jerkiness of the trans tells me it’s still in learning mode. That usually goes away after 500-800 miles. Big but fun to drive. I will kind of miss my f150 when my maverick arrives.
Has forscan previously shown an ipma for this maverick? If yes then check fuses. In no, are you sure it has one? Also you have tried removing all saved vehicles?
Are you following the instructions exactly? from my experience if it’s even slightly off any sync 3 based update won’t work. How are you extracting the files?
Fords backend for this has always been slow from what I’ve noticed. My f150 has 3 recalls that are needed but only one shows in fords system. And 2 of the 3 are 2 years old and still waiting for parts supposedly
sounds like a basic external ssd would be a better option. That’s what I set up for my dad to have all his music on in his f150 and it’s been pretty quick with indexing each time he adds to it
With the way the system works having a second battery would be of no benefit since battery charge is only 1 of many factors in start/stop. interior temp and engine temp play a bigger part in start/stop than battery charge.
no need to master reset. In the truck settings screen select carplay and remove your phone. you should also go to settings->general->carplay on your phone and remove the sync 3 one listed there to reset it. I had to do this once for my dad in his f150
As stated it does require a different apim since the non nav only have 16gb of storage and the nave ones have 64GB to hold the map data. If you can find a apim it’s an easy swap and it should work without changes of it comes from a maverick
To all those wondering it can be turned off. You have to use forscan to do it but it can be done. I’m also on the side of just push the button once if you find the horn annoying as all doors lock on first push.
I wonder if it’s anything like my fusion when it had a dead 12v battery. There was something that had to be reset for the high voltage side to turn on. Most of the people at the dealer had no clue but the hybrid guy in service knew about it.
