  1. Interior Dimension Request

Hey folks, No Maverick yet.. hoping to get a 2024. I haven't been able to see one up close and personal and was wondering what the interior width was in the back seat from one door to the other. I checked the Body Builder Guide but that dimension wasn't listed. Anyone have a tape...
  2. YES! The Maverick has buttons!

I'm not sure as I don't have one yet, but the OrderGuide lists "Manual Single Zone Air Conditioning" for the XL and XLT, and Dual Zone Automatic for the Lariat.
  3. Just towed trailer 200 miles with XLT EcoBoost 4K Tow AWD (Santa Cruz to Lucerne CA through 3 mountain passes)

I bought one of these for my current vehicle, a Ford E-350. Takes the guesswork out of it. http://www.weigh-safe.com
  4. YES! The Maverick has buttons!

Do you have a Lariat with the automatic climate control? I've had several cars over the years with automatic climate controls and yes, set it and forget it. But the XL and XLT don't have that. If it's 40 degrees out this morning I'll want warm air, and when the afternoon sun gets the temps up...
  5. Just towed trailer 200 miles with XLT EcoBoost 4K Tow AWD (Santa Cruz to Lucerne CA through 3 mountain passes)

I just came across the towing guide in another thread, and they list the maximum frontal area for the 4K towing package at 40 sq. feet and 20 sq. ft for the 2K towing package.
  6. YES! The Maverick has buttons!

Imagine you are driving on a cold and wet winter day, and you pull into an underground parking garage. You lower the window, take the ticket from the dispenser, the gate goes up, and you pull forward. Suddenly the warm blast from the garage hits the inside of the windshield and it is suddenly...
  7. Recommended wteering wheel cover?

Another vote here for a stitch on leather cover from Wheelskins. I've installed these on three different vehicles. Well worth it.
  8. Fastmavericks.com is open!!

It would be nice if there was a Contact or About Us page somewhere, so prospective buyers would at least have an idea as to what country you are located in, and what currency is shown on the web site. Also, if you are accepting payments on your web site, your agreements with the credit card...
  9. Just towed trailer 200 miles with XLT EcoBoost 4K Tow AWD (Santa Cruz to Lucerne CA through 3 mountain passes)

I know others have towed that much weight and gotten better mileage. I suspect that the physical size and height of that trailer is more of an aerodynamic drag than a weight issue. Most Owners manuals dictate a maximum frontal square footage you can tow. You might want to check what that limit is.
  10. Finally lowered and rims put on.

Wow.. That looks awesome. What tire size is that?
  11. Maverick Ford Bed Divider Kit Installed

Eastgate Ford has it listed for $342CDN which doesn't seem to bad. https://www.eastgatefordpartscanada.ca/oem-parts/ford-bed-divider-kit-nz6z99286a72a
  12. Where are all the Mavericks?

The low import numbers explains why I am seeing 22 XLT's with 60,000km for $8K more than new.
  13. Where are all the Mavericks?

I'm in the GTA, with about 7 Million other people. I've been actively looking to spot a Maverick in the wild, out on the roads somewhere, but have yet to see one. I rode my motorcycle for a little 250km pleasure ride today and never saw one. I did see 2 McLarens, several Lamborghini's, and...
  14. Hello from Canuckistan

Waiting to see what 2024 will bring. I'm hoping for an AWD Hybrid to be announced. AWD is a stronger preference than the Hybrid, so if they don't bring that out for 2024 I'll be leaning towards the Ecoboost AWD.
  15. Hello from Canuckistan

Joining in today. Located in Toronto, ON. Currently have a 15 passenger E350 van but thinking about downsizing. I've been impressed with what I have seen so far with the Maverick, except the time it takes to get one. Having been on the Ford Transit forum for years I'm used to seeing 2...
  16. Car Sick...Rear Seat Passengers?

I had this issue growing up. Search Amazon for "car anti static strip". Worked for me 50 years ago.
