Has anyone found a good solution for adding a hitch stabilizer?
I have a few hitch attachments that aren't the most stable. Hate that these don't work with the Mav's trailer chain mounting points. In theory I guess you could run it upside down but I haven't confirmed it yet.
Like one of these...
What size are the needed for the rings on the tender? I'm certain my motorcycle-sized ones won't work. Also, how did you wire the tender? Isn't the 12v battery under the rear seat? Curious how you routed the tender outside the car.
I was waiting until my maverick got here to decide between...
Nice setup. I already have everything else on both ends (cubby and RAM phone mount). Just need an adapter that has a FITS end and a RAM ball.
Something like this, but in a 1" ball size:

Maybe I misremembered, but I thought I saw a post on here previously that VINview would give updates by text for shipping/your railcar. Obviously salesman needs to put in your number to get updates.
I have my Norfolk Southern car, I just would have preferred getting text updates than me calling...
Anyone done or seen one of these yet? Found an older thread for the smaller 17mm RAM ball. The one I use on all my other motos and mounts is the 1" diameter B-size ball.

+1 for would be nice if a dealer on here could hook us up. My "salesman" couldn't do anything BUT deflect when I tried to ask him to add my number to tracking via VINView. Then again, dude is like 80 and I'm not sure he knows how to use "the internet."
Nice walkthrough. What is the benefit of doing t? Just to upgrade from the stock wiring? Not necessarily something needed for your average sprint speaker replacement, right?
Late but finally here.. before I order, any idea what color goes best with the XLT blue/slate interior? I'm back and forth between black and grey.. Don't have my truck quite yet, hoping someone can help!
Thanks for this @MaverickMods . Hoping someone puts together a comprehensive audio upgrade guide (I know there are a few guides here) that I can use when I take delivery in ~2 months.
If anyone knows of one that focuses on the XL/XLT front/rear speakers, tweeters, and adding an amp/sub, would...
@VampireOnline any chance you can share the 3d print file for the cubby. Also not sure what you printed for the garage holder but would be cool if you could share that one too!
I just listed a $500 setup in my previous post. Only thing missing is a proper mount, might need to custom fab it or look around.
Crutchfield doesn't provide labor, so @twracing likely did on his own under the guide of Crutchfield.
Skip the shop. It's really not that difficult of a job. You should try doing your own door speakers and tweeters first. Watch a video, it's not particularly difficult. If you can do that, move on to the rear speakers. If you're comfortable with that, adding an amp isn't too far off anyway. Maybe...
Nope, just a single for the most part. I live and die by these style carriers these days:

Suspension stays unloaded and hardly any work getting a bike up there. Pricey, but there are knockoffs for cheaper. By far the easiest load/unload...
