Looking over the tailgate when it is closed is very different than having a step so you don't have to put things down to get up in the truck. I never need to get up on the bumper when the tailgate is closed but if you did, you can grab the tailgate to lever yourself up. That is very different...

Maybe I am missing something but that seems like when the tailgate is down you could not access so it would not be of any help.

Only thing I want from 25 is the front parking assist. I miss the beep beep to tell me how close I am in the garage. And the 360 view and the hitch assist knob and camera looks nice since I have the 4k package

You have to select it on Build page, then when you go to search it carries them over. That's how I found mine in April. The filters on the search page are useless.

It was a nightmare trying to find when I was looking. One way that helps a little is the 4K package require AWD, so if you toggle that and Eco engine, it will reduce down the search a little. Then click on window sticker.
