I had a leased 2017 C-Max that I drove for 50K miles with Zero problems. Is the hybrid power train in the Maverick different from what Ford used in the C-Max? Why are there so many problems being reported?
I've seen several postings that many repair shops refuse to accept. any work insured by Allstate. It takes forever to get approval and even longer to get paid.
Quite a few years ago, I went into a dealership, saw a car that I liked and wrote them a check. I told them my wife would pick the car up the next day. When she went to pick the car up, they said that the salesman wasn't aware the car was already sold. They offered me another car that had a few...
Don't know how its connected in the Maverick, but on my Ecosport there is a single wire connected to the positive terminal on the battery. Unplug it and the start/stop is disabled. Makes the system think your battery is low so start/'stop won't engage.
They are a low amperage battery maintainer. They will shut off when the battery is fully charged. Battery Tender is a popular model and Noco makes them as well. Noco's can be set for lead acid, AGM or lithium. I got one on Amazon on sale for $17 but they usually run around $25. I use them on my...
My daily driver is a leased Ecosport. I have a 5 x 8 aluminum trailer that I tow with it for light loads. I would much rather have the open bed of the Maverick but using the trailer isn't a problem for me. If I don't get my Maverick (Hybrid), I'm going to buy out the lease and save $22K.
I use a BP credit card, 15 cts. off per gallon. there's a lot more BP stations than Sam's or Costco's. No annual fee and I think for the first 90 days you ger 30 cts. off per gallon. Of course, if there aren't any BP stations, in your area, many other companies offer a similar deals.
Would have rather had the Rapid Red but since it's not available on the '23s I went with the HPR. Probably won't make any difference since I probably won't get my Hybrid.
