All hybrids behave similarly. There is no discernible difference between auto starting the automobile and starting it with the key.
EcoBoost models have all kinds of wonkiness going on. For the most part, it works, but as mentioned there are some patterns with the door open or when The vehicle...
Actually I was thinking behind the actual grill, where the factory ACC goes. Those repositioning brackets are much cheaper than the OEM versions.
I can't imagine the temperature was the problem. I think you probably just had an intermittent / bad connection somewhere.
I'm curious as you take this all apart again, if there would be a spot where one of the bronco ACC relocation brackets could be mounted.
Could potentially allow the ACC module to be installed behind the grill without any cutting (but still have to remove the plastic strip behind). These things...
I didn't. The fuse box under the hood is an absolute nightmare to do anything with.
I ended up just punching through the firewall and using fuse taps in the passenger compartment.
By harness, do you mean all of your wiring from the CCM into your truck cabin is cat 5 cable?
Please rip that out and start over with appropriate automotive wire...
Not a bad idea. I have my old XLT grill sitting around and can model something up.
But I'm not sure if the CCM would fit behind the grill without cutting some of it away.
When I pushed through the gasket in the firewall, my coat hanger ended up going right through the middle of the wire bundle.
One of my coronary arteries became extremely inflamed for about 10 minutes. Luckily, I never noticed anything adverse from that mishap.

Check out the link if the second post on this thread. Without a doubt, this is a significant time commitment but an incredible increase in the drivability of this vehicle.
If you decide to bite off this project, you will need to read through that entire thread in its entirety...
Fairway Ford parts will take your Ford pass points.
Here is the list of what I bought from them. I think this totaled about $550.
Then it was just a matter of some wire and a few more connectors. And modifying your existing grill.
You have to email them to make up an invoice and have them...
1500 is too steep.
Using the Ford pass points I got when I bought the car, the whole thing cost me less than $600.
By far the best modification to my XLT hybrid.
What are you basing this statement on?
Only Honda civics and Jeeps are modified aftermarket more often than Ford SUVs and trucks.
Lift kits, light bars, aftermarket speakers / amp / radios all modify a vehicle much more than adding a fuse tap with a timer module.
And none of these have ever...
