Newb here to intercoolers. Any downside to losing the lower shutters? What would happen in winter conditions? Seems like this would be most useful when towing in hot weather.

CRC GDI cleaner is a good idea. Some good feedback on misting with water too but you have to be careful to not hydro-lock the engine with that. Seems like a catch can is the best option based on the research I've done so far. Also, in case this will help anyone else, savagegeese on youtube...

What's considered a "good" catch can? I understand that if PCV pressure is limited too much (say the catch can filter is too restrictive) that it could wear out the piston seals and increase blow by. Same would happen if the PCV system were to ever get clogged because the oil was not drained...

As far as I know LOW can be used with towing and is recommended per the manual for steep inclines/hilly terrain as you referenced.

Just did Ford chat. No VIN but I did move to priority code 2 (from 19) so Ford did preview my order. Still hoping for a 2023 but it's going to be close!

I am order#256 and still priority code 19 so the Granger allocation count hasn't made it to me. Looks like I'll be a 2023 as I also have the lux package.

Atlas blue for me! I think it's just the right shade personally, not too light not too dark.

Agreed; probably will end up getting the missing parts from a junkyard myself once I get my truck to do the mod. If only the Lariat seats were my color...I wouldn't have to go through this, haha.

If you are a January order like me, I would just expect a model year 2023 at this point. Could be late fall, but if you are a late January order, I would anticipate a winter delivery (Dec-Jan). Happy you got your Colorado; hope it serves you well. I will continue waiting for the Mav.

Anyone happen to know the alternator amperage in the maverick? Perhaps there are two different sizes of alternator depending if you added the factory inverter? I'm still waiting on my truck or I'd look myself... If there's capacity, I would like to put in a larger inverter with thicker gauge...

Nice but need more details! You added an LED tube in the top of the XLT headlight? How did you do the wireless charger? What were the other 16 upgrades?

I didn't order the Lariat because I'm cheap and didn't like the brown interior. :D I'm still waiting on my truck and was going to look into this myself, but my, what a great write-up! Thank you Now to figure out the brake booster problem on the Ecoboost.
