I just sold my Volvo XC 70 in anticipation of seeing my Maverick delivered. No sooner did the Volvo leave the driveway or my dealer called and said “You Maverick is IN!”! Wow! Then I knew….I will miss the awesome Volvo stock stereo….it was spectacular. But I won‘t miss the Volvo expensive repairs.

That’s good to read - I got rid of my Honda Fit Sport because of the lousy mileage for too small of a car and saw the Maverick as a great replacement. Honda makes awesome engines…I just don’t think their models meet my needs.

Maybe invest in a nice rack that has easy load features? As a woman kayaker myself, I know all too well the challenges of loading and unloading a boat from a vehicle…but there are rack accessories to help us. Safety on the road is important and so is our love of paddling - invest in both! Love...

Small campers and shells are really great and I would buy one for my Mav. Would the smallest Scout camper fit? I am impressed with this Four Wheel pop up camper. Will keep an eye on that. Thanks for this.

I would love an EV but the infrastructure is still lacking where we live….am gonna have to wait. Sad truth. My compromise is to buy an awesome, economic new vehicle with all-round capability and make it last: Maverick!
