This actually works. I worked at ------ Volkswagen when I was young. Someone had bought a vehicle that was a lemon before the lemon laws. Anyway, the vehicle owner parked in front with a big sign "I BOUGHT THIS LEMON AT ------" Needless to say, the issue was resolved shortly there after.
That's not how it works. I was a service technician many years ago. A service manager is not going to authorize more time on a "simple non mechanical" .4 hr job for any reason, test drive etc. No one was authorized, simple as that.
See attached recall. Only .4 hours are allocated for the Maverick service. 14 miles driven would most likely exceed the service technicians .4 hrs allocation. So yes, probably a food run.
I thought there was no bearing on Customer Retail Orders with how many allocations a dealer has available. Did you order and receive your Maverick from Long McArthur?
Hah, right :)
I think my dealer is pulling some shenanigans. Going to order with Long McArthur sent my build already. It will be a nice 1400 mile mini vacation when it arrives someday.
Just received an email from Fritts Ford in Riverside...
From Shonnah Shoemaker
Frederick on August 2nd the gas engine maverick is the only one open for order. The 2023 Hybrid will not be available until future months. Are you interested in the gas engine or hybrid?
Really surprised to hear...
