In relation to the first part of this, I absolutely hate that people now seem to think that sharing a lane is okay. They rush to close the gap between their vehicle and yours, then cut over at the last possible second, nearly grazing your bumper in the process. At times I've considered...
I may be wrong on this but I recall seeing/hearing that if a change is made to an order with a priority in the 2-9 range, it will revert to a dealer-specified (10-19) priority then the dealership would have to request the change back to 2. Not sure if that will be possible, so it's best to make...
The OP of this thread isn't one of the cancellation/re-entry people. They simply re-ordered in September when the banks were open since they didn't have a VIN yet.
Most of the features of CP360 and CP Assist came standard with my Civic. I can turn them off at any time and leave them off (I have to intentionally turn on lane centering and have lane departure off at all times) but having the options is quite nice. Particularly when the Vegas wind picks up...
Yes the Jan 9th date is a placeholder, and I believe it's a slim possibility of a December build week. We'll have to see how the process shakes out over the next few weeks and whatever the new memo supposedly coming out today contains.
Correct. As long as you're not scheduled to be built and assigned a VIN yet, those changes should be possible. I recommend contacting your dealer to be sure of the current configuration.
Your '22 hybrid, like mine, will no longer be a '22 soon (Sorry if this is redundant information).
The January build date is a placeholder to keep it from being confused with '23 builds happening in December - your (now) '23 build should be in the Ford systems soon then you can make changes if...
I'm not sure what the question is, but yes some packages including the Lux have been changed due to constraints. It made the Lux package cheaper by itself, then equal in cost if the standalone items are added back on.
Looks like you have some reading to do! Here are some threads on the topic.

That may not be 100% true - supposedly if we get the orders re-prioritized back to 10-19 by the dealership, Ford should push it to a 2 soon afterward. Seems the 30th date is a hard deadline else it will be cancelled. Really hard to tell if that's how things will go, given Ford's track record...
From what I understand, the verification of Order Number duplication should happen before the 9th - not sure if I'm misunderstanding or if your dealer is doing things out of order.
Who knows what order Ford will actually build these things in - if there's something special about our...
Because reading is hard - It's like when someone poses a question and 16 people all respond with the same answer, days apart.

I was wondering how long it would take for this to be posted on MTC :ROFLMAO:
Obviously our licensing process is too lenient - there are SO many terrible drivers on the road.
That should still be the case until your MY22 order has been cancelled and re-entered by Ford. For now the order must remain where it is to make sure the changeover happens correctly.
Well the dealer technically isn't wrong. They can't do anything with your order until Ford duplicates the order as a '23. The dealer has their own work to do to ensure they don't have duplicate order numbers in their system, but as long as that isn't a problem then they can only wait until...
yup. This came out on Monday evening (sorry about the edit, hit submit too quickly)

Wow, that doesn't bode well. Tim went over how the dealership employees can get those memos, specifically in a dealer-only site called FMCDealer.com - this is their training and memo site.
The following link should hit the right timestamp so you don't have to watch much to get the same info.
