I've received that message twice on my 22 xl/eco/awd.....hasn't happened in at least 8 months or so. Maybe the latest recall (24S59/24V684) will address the issue? IDK.....

Mine works fine (22 xl).....you kind of have to FINESSE the key while inserting.

Yes....Suma mirrors are way better than stock mirrors. A little pricey but they do the job. Some say they are a little hard to see thru if you have tint (I don't). Install was simple. Pop out the stock mirrors and reinstall the Sumas. Sorry, don't have any pics.

I've never had a problem with a drop on my last three trucks, some come as I piece, others as "modular" ......your mileage may vary!
