Are you saying you wont be able to build your 2023 on August 2nd on the Ford website then pick dealer? Then go into dealer for actual order? I thought that is the procedure. I new you could also go into dealer and have them, build while you sit there. but I would prefer to build it myself...

I priced a XLT hybrid about 2 weeks ago wrote price down $24070 with 3 options Full size spare, hitch and manual slide window, Now just now 7-11-22 $25225. I wonder will the 2023 go up even more?

To me my GUESS would not be a recall they have a solution for. Just have the dealer do the recall as part of the normal prep each vehicle gets. . So maybe they found an issue at the plant they have yet a solution for? Again just guessing.

The door lock unlock by touch is what I have on my 2020 Ecosport SE which is only one step up from base model. it sucks the Maverick doesn't have that feature at least on the XLT model. I would miss that the most of all the features my Ecosport has. I plan on ordering a hybrid XLT come August...

My dealer said order it on fords sight then come in and do the actual order . I will be online at Aug 2nd 12:01 am place order then first thing that morning go to dealer.

I can tell you one local dealer (Basil ford Buffalo NY area) had a buyer drop out and they marked it up 8K. Its off there web site so I assume they sold it I wonder if they got the 8k up charge or not,

Oh in that case some can indeed be over 1 year. that would suck waiting MORE than a year. I hope i don't end up in that group. I will play it safe with options and NOT get Lux or 360. hopefully that will keep me in the 8 month time frame.

I was under the impression orders for the Mav didn't start until July last year? Am I wrong here? If not how could anyone be over a year wait? Again I thought it was July 2021 orders opened up? I cant say for sure what the average time frame is just reading threads here and on face book is were...

Well the OP was Early January so September would seem about right. I see some here are well over 8 months. That stinks. My "guess" is the more chips you asked for meaning Lux Package or 360 the longer the delay. That is the way it seems to me anyway reading this forum a lot. Yes some exceptions...

Try the coolant stop leak junk. I would not normally say try it as it can clog the heater core BUT who cares as its summer. Don't use coolant just ad water. Carry several gallons of water and keep it full. DON'T over heat it. Limp along till Mav comes it. Good luck.

When did you places your orders? it seems to me a 8 month time frame from order to receive,. At least that is my hope.

Not unusual at all. Last car said zero still had another 1.5 gallons of gas in it.
