  1. Rustoleum Pro Bedliner - Request for Opinions on next steps.

Your point is well taken. I clarified on the recorded phone call that they had no interest in receiving the damaged goods through a return. I feel bad for the call taker that we had to exchange emails where i sent her a picture. It was epoxy hardening but any normal person would see a ziploc...
  2. Rustoleum Pro Bedliner - Request for Opinions on next steps.

I received the Rustoleum Pro 2 part Epoxy bed liner from Amazon. The box was not damaged but when I opened it, it was clear that one part of the two part Epoxy had leaked into the larger plastic bag that it was packaged in. 90% sure it was part A, the smaller part. Ideally you mix part A and...
  3. LAINLOY (Generic Chinese) Underhood light strip

+2 for shadow reduction. The passenger side wire is not long enough to wire up perfectly so I had to tap into what I had done before. All three are wired to a common hot and ground in parallel about 20 AWG. Just for fun I checked the amps on my multimeter and it was 425 mA.
  4. Weather Proofing bed?

Probably not a problem Possible "solution" Sorry about the blurry. Unsteady hands sometimes. I should have run the weather-strip about 6" more, past where the C-pillar trim bottom clip engages the top of the bed and chanelled it into the bed. I was too worried about putting to much...
  5. LAINLOY (Generic Chinese) Underhood light strip

The kit was a bit weird. An inline fuse holder and fuse was included but was very close to the body ground switch. This made no sense to me so I put a new fuse holder near the hot contact point near the fuse box. I struggled with the drop in Fuse Box. IT TILTS INTO THE CARRIER. I checked...
  6. LAINLOY (Generic Chinese) Underhood light strip

Amazon says its 20" but what I received was a bit over 15". Still did a good job. Either size would fit the Maverick without problems. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK6HQMMX?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
  7. Weather Proofing bed?

I found some generic rubber over foam weather-stripping for boats and campers at Lowe's that I think will cure my anxiety. Trim is back in place so i am waiting to install.
  8. Mabett Seat Cover Install with details that I thought were helpful

I agree. But when you are 50+, your perspective on necessary may change. Eyes aren't so good; looking under that seat of blackness without knowing what is in there. Back and muscle pain is slow to recover. I have more free time and free cash than I used to. Experience with prior DIY and...
  9. Mabett Seat Cover Install with details that I thought were helpful

They are heavy, barely fit through the door and risk scratching the door trim. I will add that to the slide.
  10. Mabett Seat Cover Install with details that I thought were helpful

100%. Bit.ly - Not going to happen. I DO NOT care that you are my healthcare provider for your survey. Link in a SMS. Go pound sand. I've got kidney stone, I was not kicked in the head.
  11. Mabett Seat Cover Install with details that I thought were helpful

https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/e/2PACX-1vShuIeJ5TLTCDKFJnYcPeMcEtOuVrpu09w1Yjs1wxdnS4x9lkC6SrTT39iDmil2Lgzy5MfibrEK-rRt/pub?start=false&loop=false&delayms=60000 I removed the front seats to make as tidy as possible and documented as helpful. Its a slide show which is more navigable...
  12. Weather Proofing bed?

Concur. Disforming the door sealant with the tarp makes a lot more sense than what I originally thought. Where the rear seat and rear seat back hinge are located on a hinge, there is a significant hill to climb for dripping water. It is hard to see behind all the plastic trim. Just weird to...
  13. Weather Proofing bed?

Bucket just refers to the plastic trim below the back seat that is concave and holds water. Trough would be a better word.
  14. Weather Proofing bed?

In preparation for a bed liner install, I had occasion to remove the bed plastic trim. During the process a storm was coming and I covered the holes with a tarp and secured the tarp with the back doors. I still got a lot of water to leak into the cab that ended up in the buckets outboard of the...
  15. Plastic bed trim removal?

Caution : I was in the middle of a bed related project and I do NOT have a garage. I put up a tarp while the plastic bed trim pieces were vaguely in place. THE STORM WAS PRETTY BAD AND I HAD WATER IN THE BUCKETS OUTBOARD OF THE REAR SEATS.
  16. Motorcycle Phone holder for Cubby

RAM mount is the system. Packaging is funny. No brands, just a plain cardboard box. Made in China. Back view
  17. Motorcycle Phone holder for Cubby

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D93DLFWQ?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title Works reasonably well. The holder is MUCH stronger than the cubby plastic. The top clamp is a bit stiff and bends the cubby plastic. I haven't been on a bike in quite a long time but its the standard ball clamp found on lots...
  18. Tailgate Removal 2024 XLT?

Resolved. Stout girl next door threw a hip into the Driver's side and it came right out.
  19. Plastic bed trim removal?

Working on a project as well. Suggestions - Heat gun (LOW) or hairdryer aimed up to soften the clips. Removing taillights provides access to the rear most two. Inboard ones are easier but the outboard ones are difficult and inaccessible. When doing the C-Pillar, slide some thin cardboard behind...
  20. Tailgate Removal 2024 XLT?

I watched the YouTube that was on point. I dropped the spare and disconnected the camera. I disconnected the cables. I tilted the gate and got the passenger side to slide out. But the Driver Side wont bunch and there are no markings that clue me in. Just try HARDER? Doing it in the grass in case...
