Yeah, but actually if you read your post, you went “too far.” You drove it too much to experience that INITIAL first stop surging. If you get what I’m saying.
I didn’t say the light didn’t come on, but anyway ….I’d be the first to lay down a huge stack of money against you saying it’s not a “warped” rotor. 😂😂😂
Come on guys....READ!!! The other posts in this Forum that is. It's NOT the rotors. It's the ABS system working as designed. If you are hitting an imperfection in the road braking a bit too hard...you're going to feel it "studder" I can recreate it if I turn into my neighborhood just right...
Yeah....but do you know how you get it to do what ALL the above posts are talking about??? Do exactly like you're doing...BUT...when you get to the end of your driveway....stop for a second and put the brake on. Hybrid will do the surging every time. My morning routine is the exact same every...
Yep....been on this planet for 60 years now...and have NEVER seen, heard, witnessed, or even thought that my hood didn't open "enough". In the immortal words of Chevy Chase from Vacation..."You all are fucked in the head !!!"
You sure you're not missing a "1" in front of that 82?? Where the hell you finding a 450 for 82K. Is it an XL with steelies.......LOL. Every 450 I see is North of 100k. Everything's bigger in TEXAS :rockon::rockon:
Yeah…but I’ve got some of the same chips he does and my wheel was never replaced. I started thinking about my last post..and come to think of think about it…the two chips are too close to the center of the rim to be a curb hit. 🧐🧐
I have two of those marks...one on the front left and one on the back left. I'm assuming I took a rock hit...hit a curb...or one of my kids driving it hit something. Year and a half with mine and like I say...only two marks like your picture.
On my 2024 hybrid…. if I have the AC OFF when I stop the truck when I turn it on, it’s still OFF. if I left the AC on when I stopped the truck when I turn it on….AC is ON. Same thing on my F250. One difference though might be …..are you remote starting the truck? If you’re remote starting a...
Remember guys....the 'bouncing' while stopping AND the pulsing while stopped on a cold truck have both been discussed in several previous posts. Use the search or look at the bottom of other braking related posts.
A MONTH??? That sounds a bit crazy. Did they replace every nut and bolt on the truck before some genius said let's try the MAIN thing that connects the truck to the Ford App?? I don't know...maybe it's just me...although Panera did forget one of the Chicken Noodle bowls in my to-go order the...
Hands down you will NOT find a better seal kit than Safety Seal. I've had my kit from the Snap On truck from the Mobil station my brother worked at in 1981. I have three of those ORIGINAL plugs in two of my Mav's Continentals as we speak. They will never fail.
Good points...but I would say it's definitely NOT warped rotors. Not with a bunch of different trucks experiencing this. My truck has done it 3 times....and it has been 4-5 months since I last felt it. It's not the rotors for sure.
That’s funny… I’ve got a 2024 XLT and my younger daughter takes my truck on highway trips because it’s so quiet. But I guess that’s compared to her Subaru. I personally think the Maverick is pretty damn quiet for what it is. 😎
