Yeah, I understand that as I work in the “hail industry”, but watching that video, I didn’t see one that was bigger than a golf ball and there was a whole bunch of hail falling. That’s all I was pointing out. Not saying there wasn’t a big one, but I didn’t see “baseballs”. 😎😎😎
Well....one thing is for sure...in that video in this thread, that is NOT baseball sized hail. It was "golfball" at best. Just an observation. Oh...and the OP's Mav is NOT totaled. What is this world of insurance coming to???
Tell you what…. I’ve done this in the past and when you really think about it, it’s the safest thing you can do in situations where you’re going in the water and you can’t take your keys. Hide the key fob “under” the truck somewhere or under the bed mat. thieves are not looking under the bed mat...
Yep....I don't even keep my insurance card in the truck any longer as it has my address. Well...at least in the F-250. I do keep it in the Mav as both my daughters drive it at various times. If there is a choice between a 250/2500 in the parking lot....they aren't taking the Maverick...
Is it "Safe".....NO. Is it convenient? YES. Long story short...I left my keys in my F-250 in the tray.....locked it with the keypad. I was sitting outside the restaurant at a picnic table about 50 feet away. A Suburban pulled in and blocked my view of my truck...not on purpose. Thieves...
I'm not replacing the Hybrid battery at 100K....maybe at 500K...but the truck will be long gone and probably on my 3rd Mavrick before the new owner hits 500K.......
Noooo.....he just needs to get a "thinner" frame. Cops in Texas will give you a warning for this as the plate is obstructed. Slightly obstructed...but still obstructed. As this post has shown.....:wink:
Google "Launch control 911 Turbo S" No car does it finer. Get in. Push Sport or Sport +Mode. Put your foot on the brake...hard. Mash the throttle ALL the way to the floor. Put your head against the headrest. Let off the brake. Welcome to "G-town" You will NEVER forget this feeling the rest...
Nope, so far so good 2024 XLT 30,000 miles I’ll probably trade it in for lariat when I hit about 70-80k. Hybrid has been awesome. My first one and I LOVE it. I also have an F250 Diesel for the big boat and trailers and stuff, but the hybrid Maverick rocks!!! The F250 sits so much now I worry...
