I received my 2025 Eruption Green XLT, 260, lux package Maverick on January 22, 2025. I am really liking the upgrades. I love the color, but winter will probably not be kind to my green. Looks like more car washing will be needed compared to my Cyber Orange Maverick.
I love the bigger...
Brought home my truck yesterday. Not much to say right now. Will post more later. Too cold and snowy right now. My cyber orange maverick has been titled over to my brother and will be delivered on Saturday.
Mine is a FWD. I currently have a 22 FWD and it has worked well for me. I plan to keep my 25 for many years. But, I don't travel much or drive off road so it seemed a waste of money for AWD. Oh and I have hauled riding lawn mowers, ATV, washer and dryer on a trailer with no problems either...
Oh WOW! Good for you! I was going to comments about how maybe your truck is a bit bashfull and wasn't ready to venture out of the yard, but the last sentence changed all that. I'm driving mine home Wednesday.
I was checking my dealers website and my truck wasn't listed, just the 2 that were on the website for a long time. I guess it's a dealer choice to put up customer's trucks in transit.
Hood deflector, mud flaps and tailgate assist. I know most on this sight could do it themselves, but I dont want to try. I may mess things up. I will be adding my tailgate letters when the weather warms up. I've done that before and is easy.
I find my left foot sometimes gets caught while exiting. This only seems to happen in winter due to me wearing winter boots. I'm 5.4 and I am probably closer to the steering wheel too.
I have some good news and bad news tonight. My furnace quit on me at 6pm. Repair guy is here. Not good news. So while I was waiting I thought I'd check my tracker. MY TRUCK HAS BEEN DELIVERED!
sometimes people don't even get an email. I did my first go around, but this time I haven't. I went here to track my order: https://www.ford.com/myaccount/vehicle-order-tracking#/
of course you need a vin# and your order # first.
I'm writing this as an old lady. I didn't know auto dimming was a thing. In my day, when the lights behind me were bright I simply flipped the rear view mirror. Was/is really a simple thing to do and no electronics/special programming etc. involved.
It does not have memory function. I am the only driver for my truck, but when it comes back from service the seat is moved and it takes me quite awhile to get it back to where I feel comfortable again. I can see if you have multiple drivers where this could be an issue more frequently.
Old is relative my friend. Sometimes I too feel old, but then I think of what I have to remember that the older generations didn't have to know and it amazes me sometimes.
Nice! I'm expecting my EG Mav next week. I hope the weather is better and warmer too. I don't want to drive it back home in a blizzard. I like how the yellow comes out in the sun.
I bought this just yesterday. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Rain-X-61-Extendable-Car-Snow-Broom-and-Ice-Scraper-Tool-Black-and-Yellow-1-Pack-1220141061X/826530734?classType=REGULAR&athbdg=L1102&from=/search
Never live in winter areas without a good brush/scraper
