Have you tried changing the alert sensitivity? I keep mine on high. I want as much notification as possible.

I would say, no they would not. From the statements I have read from Ford. They will probably drop it in future models. I don't think they will allow it to become retroactive.

Even ford acknowledge, it was owner induced. Not one person has been able to honestly replicate their experience of an uncommanded auto-door locking on video.
