Milage varies depending on the temperature. The other day I got 51 mpg on a local trip. I also have bigger all terrain tires on mine! As long as you get 25 or newer you shouldn't run into any issues.
Correct! I work from home and drive about a mile a day to drop my kids off at school. Weekends I might drive 5 or 10 miles. My 22 was always in deep sleep. I have had my 25 for a year and a half and only have 4500 miles on it. Not once has it gone into deep sleep. Everything is just much more...
Now that the hybrid can tow 4k and has AWD the only reason to go Eco is if you want a Tremor or Lobo. Also for 26 the hybrid AWD system has been recalibrated (25s will be getting a software update) to match or exceed the AWD performance of the Eco.
It should be coming to the 25-26s as an over the air update at some point. At least it says that in my Ford app when I check the recall. Though as others have said you can bring it to Ford or have the Ford mobile team come out and do it.
22-24 Hybrids can only tow 2,000lbs with the tow package. For 2025 the Maverick was refreshed and the hybrid got a lot of improvements. The 25 and newer hybrids can tow 4,000lbs with the tow package.
If this really is 30k and gets 300 mile range then the Slate is dead... It's not for me as I have no interest in an EV. I like hybrids. I'm sure with improved battery tech we could see future Maverick hybrids getting 50mpg!
Should be able to charge a LiFeP04. I will be replacing my stock battery with a Wattcycle 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 https://a.co/d/02JU1yK3 . Half the weight and twice the capacity. I also bought solar panels.
The camera I have is this https://a.co/d/02JU1yK3 . I just stick it to the rear bumper of my...
Yeah I can't see around the side of it since it's an 8 foot wide trailer. What I did after I brought it home last October was buy a magnetic wireless rear camera I stick on the trailer bumper. I keep it on the full trip and use that as my rear view mirror. For side mirrors I'm going to try these...
Thanks for the suggestions! My fridge has a strap that goes across the front when traveling so it doesn't open! I have some stabilizer jacks that I can place under the front. Didn't use them this time and it worked out well but I have them just incase.
I'm thinking of trying these. Looks like someone in the amazon reviews even has a Maverick. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D2KT8GL8/?coliid=I1XVUIM4ICV1NO&colid=8OYF37IPTFBN&psc=1&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it
I think 5k would be perfect for the Maverick and I don't think the size would need to change much at all as even the now canceled hyundai santa cruz had a 5,000lb limit with a 500lb hitch limit.
Once the trailer is plugged in it has a trailer screen that comes up. You enter the length of your trailer and if you want sway control on or off. I keep it on.
Hooking up to the trailer is very easy. Once you are lined up put the tailgate in the half position and it makes it even easier to...
They don’t sell many Rangers. When the second gen Maverick comes out they should just cancel the Ranger. I bet the next gen Maverick will tow 5,000lbs with a 500lb hitch limit. Sure that’s still 2500lbs less than the Ranger but it will do what most want and is way more efficient. I’m sure Ford...
