So I took about a 20 mile drive today. Outside temp was 46. Did about 8 miles highway (70-80mph). When I got home and turned it off it said 38.7mpg for the trip.

37 is combined not highway…..

EPA is 34 highway. You are close. Milage will improve some once it's broken in.

Why do I need luck? I averaged around 40mpg with my 22 hybrid in the warmer months…

It’s winter time. Every vehicle gets much worse mpg in the cold months and with the winter blend gas. I’m averaging 30mpg around town with my 25 hybrid AWD. In the spring summer and fall I expect to be around 40mpg.

There are no benefits to go with 18 or 19 on a truck or SUV. They will have a harsher ride and tires cost more.

No but the 22-24 Lariats don’t have the camera issue because they use sync 3 and not 2.5 like the xl and xlt.

So basically the 25 Maverick hybrid AWD with tow package is the best, most versatile/efficient truck ever made and the truck most people should be buying!

That doesn't make much sense. The hybrid doesn't cost more than the EcoBoost. You will be saving money right away. The AWD on the hybrid is still good for what most use the Maverick for.

I wish I had it on my 22. At the time I didn't need to tow anything. We then thought maybe we would like a small travel trailer. Traded in my 22 for a 25 with AWD and 4k package. It just makes the Maverick that much more versatile!

Yes the bed on the SC is 4 feet long and the Maverick is 4.6.

My 22 was in the high 20s low 30s with cold temps. My 25 AWD is about the same. All vehicles get much lower mpg in the cold winter months.

Mine had 30 on it.

You only lose 2mpg but you gain much more usability specially if you get the tow package.

Your phone can remote start it. I use that feature all the time on cold days!
