So I took about a 20 mile drive today. Outside temp was 46. Did about 8 miles highway (70-80mph). When I got home and turned it off it said 38.7mpg for the trip.
It’s winter time. Every vehicle gets much worse mpg in the cold months and with the winter blend gas. I’m averaging 30mpg around town with my 25 hybrid AWD. In the spring summer and fall I expect to be around 40mpg.
So basically the 25 Maverick hybrid AWD with tow package is the best, most versatile/efficient truck ever made and the truck most people should be buying!
That doesn't make much sense. The hybrid doesn't cost more than the EcoBoost. You will be saving money right away. The AWD on the hybrid is still good for what most use the Maverick for.
I wish I had it on my 22. At the time I didn't need to tow anything. We then thought maybe we would like a small travel trailer. Traded in my 22 for a 25 with AWD and 4k package. It just makes the Maverick that much more versatile!
Look into a 25 Hybrid as they now equal the playing field and can be optioned with AWD and the 4k tow package. As to if the lariat is worth it that is up to you. For me it is not and that’s why I went with an XLT when I had a 22 and again with my 25. For many people even the base xl trim is...
