I agree it's a great mod. I didn't have one on my 22 but after a few a my buddies dropped my tailgate on my 25 I installed one. Also you don't need to lose the tie down. Just replace it with a D ring tie down. Works great.
The hybrid will do what you’re looking for. It actually has more capabilities over the tremor if you get it with awd and the tow package. It can tow double the weight of what the tremor can. The tremor is more a specific use trim made for more extreme off-roading.
My 25 makes some sounds my 22 didn’t. Im thinking it’s the updated transmission and the AWD system. It also has a vibration that my 22 didn’t. I want to figure that one out. I got new tires and it didn’t go away so not sure what it could be. Out of balance drive shaft? Bad motor mounts?
Looks like about the same length but the Ridgeline looks much wider. I like the Ridgeline but they are expensive and don’t get that great of gas mileage.
That is the reason I traded in my 22 hybrid for a 25 with awd and tow package. I also have a family of 4. Really your only option with not having the tow package would be a pop up. We are looking at the 2026 Jayco Jay feather air sl 17bhsl and Colman 17BX
Truthfully about the same. Only had the stock tires for 1000 miles. The 225 version is the same weight as the stock tires. I think 235s look a little better than the stock size.
Question is should we use a weight distribution/anti sway hitch with the Maverick? We will be getting a travel trailer (Colman 17bx) around 2800lbs (empty) with a 300lb tongue weight.
I use to get bad water spots on my vehicles while washing that are a pain to get out. What I started doing is to keep the vehicle wet until it's time to dry. At that point I take my towel and then dry it off before the standing water has time to dry.
Had some time now with the 235/65 R17 Firestone Destination AT2 tires. Past fill up I averaged just over 35mpg (410 miles and it took 11.6 gallons) and that was with about 60% city and 40% highway (70-75mph) with outside temperatures ranging from 85-100. I currently have just over 2,400 miles on...
