No, the bar has 7-9 screws holding it in place across the back interior of the shroud, you have to pull that off and pull those screws before you can unclip the bar. On XLT at least
If it's a heavy grinding stop as the brakes are lightly engaged then yeah that's happened to my EB before a few times. Seems like slight pressure deviations will tell the computer "yeah driver wants auto-hold" and it'll throw it on even at a slight pace forward and suddenly you're braked but...
That's for the Remote Start functionality, Auto makes it react to the outside/inside temps while last setting does just that - sets AC during RS to whatever you had it set to before turning the ignition off. I doubt this setting would help OP with his recirc issue but it's worth a shot...
great looking low cost diy - you set out with a goal and nailed it I'd say thanks for posting and providing so much detail that's always awesome to read everyone's thinking and mindset when looking to upgrade these cool little trucks
I bought a bunch of different umbrella style ones, the windshield is such a tight fit it's hard to get something that looks nice, packs tight, and deploys/stores quickly and easily.
So I went to this one, "specifically" designed to fit the Mav windshield. It's actually pretty nice, some...
I'd probably cut to 53 myself, make sure I could lock everything up nice and tight without having to construct additional wall to bridge the gap between the camper rear and tailgate.
Could also tack in a tarp to the ceiling of the camper shell, unfurl it when you drop the tailgate and now...
I posted that link as a response to the GoFastCamper link previously posted and discussed here.
The GoFastCamper unit is also a tent - a fancy tent, but a tent. Some people don't need a fancy tent and just want a tent that fits in their tentless bed. The link I posted is a much cheaper...
yeah there's quite a few writeups on the bed cubby install, that tiedown has to come out.
make sure not to overtighten the cubby bolts, the thin plastic splits under pressure easily
What I will say is the installers for your spray-in should have removed all of the bed hardware prior to spraying, moot point now but it's not going to be difficult for you to remove the tiedowns and, if you do that messily, respray with a rattle can of bedliner
yeah I mean you could just undo the bolts and pull it out? or, like you've already suggested yourself, cutting close around the tiedown, being sure that when you reinstall it, you place it in the same place
have/had these, pretty bad fitment, angles. Over a short time they'd work their way out. also were pretty deep, I could see a phone or something longer but they put a coin case down in one of them and I was like how am i supposed to get change out of this without tweezers. seems like a great...
Managed to get an 2023 XLT ordered on the last day, did a little more sleuthing and decided that Lariat will fit my needs better but the dealer is saying he "probably won't be able to alter your order - once it's in it's in."
Just curious if anyone else has run into this and how you managed to...
From an XLT, Remote Start with the Alarm Proximity+ device. Plugs in series into OBDII and turns OEM keyfob into a Remote Start fob with Lock/Unlock/Lock combination. Useful when I'm just running into the store but leaving the dog/food/people in the car - way easier to hit three buttons than use...
