I actually just installed my second cubby yesterday and so looked inside the fender...there's A LOT of room there but little to mount to, you'd likely need to fabricate an entirely new cubby that mounts to the existing 6 threaded cubby mounts.
I'll update this post with photos later today if no...
So there's a dozen threads on this and I can't find the "original" but

Should get you going.

Much prefer this design to Fumoto, thank you for posting! The M12x1.75mm was a perfect fit it looks like, there's other models that keep the cap attached via cable lead, it'd be nice to see that on the SB-210131 just so there's no fumbling around for the cap at the end of the service

I've felt the "thump" a few times, although my thump could be different from yours as mine is a mechanical "thump/grind" of what I assume is the brake hold system (which I always have active unless I'm creeping) dis/engaging. On occassion I have felt it "thump" while out of brake hold but it...
Fantastic write up thank you for posting! I love reading about other's experiences in the Mav and you've put down a great experience.
What lumbar support did you buy? I find that lack of support in the OEM seats to be my biggest issue with long distance driving.
No mudflaps XLT AWD 4kT and barely clinging onto 22mpg soooo could always be worse?
Never heard of mudflaps causing mileage decreases but I suppose anything is possible - Ford's OEM flaps are stiff yeah?
holy shit really?? I'm struggling to keep 22mpg on the cluster, 60/40 highway/city, CC often as possible and coast always. highway in texas means I'm 65-75 mostly but that can't be the reason you're over 30mpg with the same setup - maybe my light foot is not as light as I felt... can't seem to...
There have been a few non-A, CC add-on discussions. Check out 2022MaverickXL's threads for more on that as well as a Sync3/4 swap for XLTs.
If it helps, a close approximation I've done is the VSS Perimeter Alarm+, that will add Remote Start to your OEM XLT keyfob. Still have to turn key to ON...
I've just passed 2000 EB 4kT miles and am barely clinging on to 22mpg while babying the pedal, CC'ing as often as possible, trying not to turbo and overall chillin in the truck except for the occasional spurt you need to dodge Texas drivers. Feels like I'm missing out, especially cause the first...
