I just went thru this with a trans/PTU/RDU fluids change. My local shop was considerably cheaper than my dealer quote, plus they let me supply all the fluids.

I'd be curious how the top cover gets removed. I feel that the cover is not dark enough, I seem to be the last vehicle on the road with it's headlights on in dusk conditions. I'm thinking that maybe wrapping it with some tint film might do the job.

@BK007 Sorry for being late to the party here, but WOW, what an experience. Looking at the TW driveshaft site, it appears as though they'll offer a refund if the 1-piece does not fix the problem. Were you able to take advantage of that?

It sure would be nice if Ford would reverse the way the roof strips attach, and use nutserts on the body, and removeable screws that could be used for a rack.

Again, if you're changing from the LOBO 7.5" width, then the offset/backspacing may come into play.
