I did wander if all the “muted” colors were a result of pigment shortages.. it does seem grey/white/51 etc are easier and potentially cheaper to make than strong colors.. umm.. will 51 die when (if) supply chains resolve themselves…. ??.. thanks for the input..
Wait.. your in Wisconsin, I see the need to hide salt.. and salt,,, And salt.. nearly time to hibernate up their.. .. thanks for your comments, have a great winter…. ..
Ahh, a very subtle blue black combo, Nice.. but think it will be a bear to keep clean.. so still between Atlas and 51.. thank you for the input and pictures.. I want those mustang molds…. Lol
I have owned both black and white trucks, both are a pain to keep clean.. and yes,, We need more vehicle colors.. the auto world is soooo bland at the moment in its color choices…. I like color on my vehicles.. applejack green mini was my first car, had minis of every color, … and...

I think dealerships used to have inventory that did this service. They are just slow to adapt to the new stock reality.
dealerships have not been “salespersons” in a longtime, more like ”checkout personnel”. Lol
I do tend to agree. The Area 51 and all the other 1950s/60s colors that area re-emerging do seem to have taken over the parking lots. I had Area 51 on my Morris Oxford back in the day, of course it wasn’t called that.. but sure seemed the same color.
I have googled Atlas blue maverick photos, and seen a few Area 51, but the photos don’t help. Dealerships need larger color swatches,. Maybe they should have painted body parts on the walls so we can see the colors on an actual panel shape.
Because it’s a Maverick common rail transit connect, the possibilities seem as many and varied as escape/bronco/mav.. so in theory the new connect can be a very interesting van.
