From what our aftermarket team has seen, you shouldnt have a problem installing a bed cover with the drop in liner. the only part that may cause you some trouble is how thick the drop in liner is and if it causes you from being unable to fit the clamps under the lip of the bed.

I just spoke with Tim, They got confused with lux and BAP. to get BAP you need Lux. your dealer is probably thinking you need BAP to get LUX.
