My Lariat Hybrid AWD just updated to "Shipped" yesterday with an estimated delivery of next week. It also still lists the pro trailer features under accessories. Won't hold my breath on either of those happening, but would be more than happy to see them come true!
My window sticker doesn’t show it either (built 11/19) but the order tracking now shows it under accessories when it was not there a few weeks ago. I don’t think it will actually be on the truck. Would love to be surprised by it though!
Hybrid AWD numbers are in! Also, noticed my sticker has the $100 increase that went into effect after my 8/9 order date. Wasn’t expecting to see that since I ordered before the price went up.
I really wish Ford went with 18" wheels for this. I want to upgrade the stock tires to something a little more aggressive and 3 peak rated, but there is not much to choose from in a 19" rim. Would love suggestions if anyone has found something similar to the Wildpeaks.
My 2025 Hybrid AWD was just built last week but I’m looking forward to taking it through the Colorado Rocky Mountains on hiking and ski trips. Lots of camping and adventure in its future so definitely will need to add some all weather mats to keep that interior looking new!
I agree completely. I'm coming from a 2014 King Ranch F150 that I dont use to its full capability any more. I looked at replacing it with a 2024 King Ranch because all I've ever owned is full size pickups. But at 18mpg and an almost $80k price tag it would be foolish. Yeah, maybe the "value" of...
100% agree! I’ve been shopping 19” tires knowing I will want to upgrade and have not found many options. Really wish Ford didn’t make that change. Looking like wheel and tire upgrade will be the answer when the originals are ready for replacement.
When I plug it in to tire rack it shows the Goodyear Wrangler Territory HT for the Lariat Hybrid AWD as o.e. Don’t know anything about this tire but hopefully it’s better. I was really hoping for the upgrade option with Falken Wildpeak like the previous year.
I'm curious of that too and praying it's not the Pirelli because those are absolute junk. I'd pay a $3-400 upcharge just to get a good tire that won't be junk after 15k miles.
If you own a trailer and use it often it could be helpful. You have to place stickers on the trailer for the system to work to its full potential. Thus, if you are renting a trailer it may not be much use as you wouldn’t waste the stickers on it. If you’re comfortable with backing a trailer then...
I'm in the same boat and could honestly see it going either way especially considering i ordered the AWD Hybrid which wasn't available before. Fingers crossed the extra QC hold will actually make a difference if needed.
I've had three sets of the Defenders on an F150 and loved them. Easily my favorite tire for everyday driving. Living in Kansas they gave me zero issues with anything I encountered and the grip in the rain is excellent and confidence inspiring.
