I saw the grill trim covers and wondered how well the pieces would fit together. I found this pic on eBay which shows how all the pieces fit:
It seems like there is a bit of chrome showing through the gaps between the pieces.
I personally decided against it as I want to have my grill piece...
Installed the black trim piece that goes over the Ford oval on the tailgate today:
It covers 99.8% of the chrome. Just a little sliver shows around the camera but you have to be bent over looking up. It fit perfect.

The finance weasel at my dealership tried to use scare tactics to get me to buy the extended warranty. He told me how much a replacement turbo would cost. I have a hybrid 😂.
I also installed a black metal plate on the flat section of the cubby behind the screen. It has adhesive on the back and I just stuck it to the plastic. This way I can use magnetic mounts for whatever. Like a 3d printed dickbutt 😂
I fail to see how more competition to the Maverick is a bad thing. If anything, the Rampage shows that multiple manufacturers are noticing that this vehicle segment is heating up and they want to compete.
Installed some aluminum knob covers
HVAC and radio knob covers
Shifter knob cover
Yes, I know the radio trim piece isn't flush with the bezel. My ADHD lets me know every time I sit in the Maverick lol.
Destination fee is part of the MSRP and cannot be negotiated.
All the other fees though, might be negotiable. Here is Florida, there is no cap on what a dealer can charge for a "dealer fee". Either the dealership charges the fee or they don't. The dealer I purchased my Maverick from charges a...
I finished installing the Ford DIBL, the LOMAX tri-folding tonneau cover and the Steeda strut tower brace today. No pics as I just wanted to spend as little time in the oppressive Florida sunshine as possible 🌞🥵.
The rails for the tonneau cover were a PITA to install by myself. I wish the lip...
What about a chrome bug deflector?
AVS makes this chrome Aeroskin deflector (part# 622154).
I think chrome parts on a dark colored vehicle can look classy if not overdone. Bug deflector, window deflectors, door handles and mirror covers would look good on your Alto Blue Maverick, in my humble...
I scored a set of Mustang Mach-e GT takeoff wheels today. They only have 650 miles on them and are pristine. Not bad for $800 .
I think I'm one of the dozen people on earth that actually likes the design. Most people hate them (like the owner of the Mach-e did) but I think they give off...
I ordered it on May 25th, it shipped on May 26th and was delivered on June 1st.
I haven't had a chance to install it yet. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to install it. I'll definitely take some pictures of it installed (y)
I bought the springs from a forum vendor and they were delivered today:
The front springs are marked J/Q so they should be the newer linear versions, correct? Are the rear springs progressive?
I had an order through Panda Motorworks that I placed on May 5th. They were waiting for it to come back in stock. I just happened to be looking at Rough Country's website and saw that the hard folding tonneau cover was no longer listed. I contacted their customer service and the rep told me that...
So after speaking to Mitch at Panda Motor works, he is hooking me up with an Access LOMAX Tri-Fold bed cover for just a bit more than the Rough Country Tri-Fold.
What a great company with amazing customer service. You guys rock!
