    I probably would have duct taped it and told them to call me when they get a tank... This is why I'm hesitant to take mine in for the random Clunk and grab when stopping. Did they at least put you in a service loaner or a rental?

    Finding nothing is def a concern of mine. But I'll go thru the steps... If it's happened to me 3x in 1600 miles what's the chance of the dealer finding it without having to put 200-500 miles on it?

    Agreed. I've had a hybrid. It's a pretty substantial Clunk. It feels like something is either grabbing or letting go that bound up. Hybrids should have a smooth transition.

    Now it's been 3x.... So far only when in Eco mode... Pulling into the driveway, slow rolling to a stop sign and now into a parking lot.

    Should I list it for 10k$ over like the dealers do? I've seen what they are paying at auction for cars that have 1-4k miles on them... It's easy over 7k$ from MSRP...

    I've had my Maverick 3 weeks and have now experienced this same thing 2x in dry conditions. Both times in Eco mode and coming to a stop. Once in my driveway and once when slow rolling a stop sign. Both times have been coming to a stop with very light pedal pressure and very low roll speed...

    I'm running a hybrid so no options over 2k for me. Looking at the thickness of the unibody frame vs even the factory crash bar and it's easy to tell which is thinner...
  14. Finally got a truck that makes my boat look big!

    Well the Mav tows the bay boat just fine. It doesn't have the humph my TDI Passat does but... It def is a more stable tow vehicle going down the road I don't get all the suspension bounce I did in my sedan.

    First 1100miles both tank averages were 46mpg.... That's mixed use with highway... EPA fuel rating is only accurate in regular driving mode. 40psi tires and eco mode I've been seeing 50+ in the city.
