The one under the black cover connects the car battery to the under-hood fuse block (we use this one). The one under the red cover is for jump-starting the vehicle and does not have a nut.

Hey there! Are you referring to fog light or ditch light kit? The fog light kit can be flipped on and tucked away for factory operation. As for the ditch light kit, it's completely up to the user where they plan to custom-mount the included toggle switch. Sorry about that!
