Not Really. If the numbers don't work at the time of delivery, you can always walk away. The most you are risking is the down payment when you order which may be refundable.
I have a 22 XLT EB also since October 22. Zero recalls not even a scratch on it. I would say it's the best new vehicle I have ever purchased. Hybrids are new technology and recalls should be expected.
I have owned mine for 8 months now and the road noise is not an issue for me, I do have two moving blankets behind the rear seat. So that may be helping but I will not be doing anything further.
Seems like whatever octane you break in with will work fine so why choose a higher one. I owned a Taurus for 21 years and never had an issue with 87 octane. So, I will continue with 87.
