Congrats on the last install and good luck with the trifold. Do you mis the ecoboost? My wife loves her hybrid and i love my ecoboost and don't want to give it up.
I paid $21,700 for my new 22 xl ecoboost two years ago and $23,990 for my wifes new 24 xl hybrid a year ago ( a 23 rollover with personal offer), so that's two for $45,690. If something happened to one of them i would go out and buy a new 25 xl for $28,000. I still see the value.
I also bought cheap aftermarket roll up tonneau covers and installed them on my 22 ecoboost and my wifes 24 hybrid with good results. Both covers keep the water out. I still have my 04 f150 that i installed a tonneau cover on, back in 04 and that is dry as well.
We own both, i drive a 22 xl ecoboost on shadow black and my wife drive's a 24 xl hybrid in hot pepper red. I like the power and pep of the ecoboost with the turbo, while still getting 29-30 mpg. My wife likes her hybrid getting 44-45 mpg so both are great trucks you just have to decide what is...
I really am enjoying my maverick. The 2.0 ecoboost is quick and fun to drive. I have had my 22 xl 2.0 ecoboost 23 months and have put 27,000 miles on it. Now retired i don't have a daily commute but take a lot off trips to the Poconos in pennsylvania and to daytona florida. Thanks Ford
keeping it in the green battery area is ok but getting good acceleration when i want or need is fun. Sometimes i drive pretty easy and sometime i don't.
Thought i wanted hybrid to drive everyday but when the new 24 hybrid came in i could not give up the power of my 22 eco boost. The point of ordering is i wanted a hybrid for mpg but at the end of the day power was more important. The dealer is ok they have a 22 xl hybrid to sell.
