Exactly correct, 100%👍👍👍👍👍 I don't expect my results to be any different than yours. On our older models 22-24 that have buttons and knobs. I don't know if folks realize that the temperature selection button is actually the on and off button too.

I'm in the Mojave Desert too. I tend to agree with you it's tough to get humidity here. Therefore to test the humidity Theory. I'm going to run a small humidifier in my truck to boost the humidity and see if it automatically activates the AC.

That's that's exactly how mine works. I wonder if some folks don't realize that they can turn off the entire system by pushing the big temperature control knob🤷‍♂️

That must be something new for 25 and 26. If I have my HVAC turned off it stays turned off no matter how Hot or cold it is.

You have to watch your scan gauge real close. As I show my video, the compressor engages very quickly 1-2 secs. after the engine starts.

From your profile, I can't tell what year Maverick you have. My 2023 hybrid XLT does Not automatically turn on the AC when I start the truck, if I turned it Off using this button.
