yep - it's sort of ridiculous - they should be able to simulate all of this in the lab with any decent software and testing diagnostics yet it seems like it's more difficult to figure out than launching moon rockets - i don't get it. Only thing is that maybe the thresholds for charging are in...
electrical probs are a pain and difficult to diagnose - if this has happened repeatedly and made it unreliable and they couldn't fix it in a reasonable number of attempts, yeah, I get it. Most reliable car i ever had was an '83 Corolla that went 200K+ miles before selling it - besides regular...
what's your city driving mpg? If it's in the high 30s or 40s then likely it's 'outside factors' that are affecting your xway mpgs. In the end if you're only making that longer trip a few times a year it doesn't really affect to any great degree the MPGs you are getting and trying to diagnose...
you should send this to Jim Farley with the caption 'look what I had to do in order to get around either a design and/or a lack of diagnostic capabilities at the dealership in order to get my truck not to crap out. Thanks Jim'.
Xl just like last time - especially with the escalated pricing since 2022, no prob paying 21k back then, this time it would be 30k - no way would I ever pay any additional $ to upgrade any trim. It's a mode of transportation, the rest of the stuff is unneeded.
endless hybrid horror stories? There's nothing intrinsic to the hybrids that ever shows up as any real fault - the only thing you find is that SOME people have probs with their 12 volt battery not being charged. I can attest having a '22 hybrid that I've had nothing hybrid related that has ever...
it'll take many years to make up for the lower mpg and the additional likely $4k cost for a plug in, and there's not much room left in the body cavity to add the capacity anyways. The current hybrid is the perfect balance as it is.
wow...totaled because of the unibody...that's pretty terrible. No real design 'fix' likely possible but maybe Ford can beef up it's tail light lighting to make it more obvious that the truck is stopped/stopping. Now I'm thinking maybe I need to upgrade my insurance to 'replacement coverage' as...
3.5 years with my 22 xl hybrid here in MI - swapped out my continentals at under 20k due to wear and had them rotated as they should have been - had one cv axle replaced under warranty with the shake symptoms, battery needed replacing at 3.2 years - had the Granger Ford ESP warranty and they...
make them fix it - pronto - and no don't sell it you'd be losing some $ on that and even if you got another one after losing money on the current one and you drove it for 2 days and it was quiet does not mean on day 5 it's not going to buzz. Be persistent - your salesperson who earned the...
I don't put up with any of that BS - if/when they start playing games I have zero problems just leaving after giving them one last chance - I'm not a sitting duck for them to shoot - there are plenty of dealerships I can go to, eventually one of them is going to sell me the vehicle at the price...
can't you upgrade the 'plan'? throw in another 20 or 30 bucks to get full syn? Weird that they're actually toying with the warranty using the blend....
the 10 year, 100k '2265$' number is exactly the price I got from them when I purchased it, the chances that it happened to be some other company would be highly coincidental and unlikely.
those are the Grangers numbers (sorry!). buy the 10 year warranty - it's the later years when you might really need it - it's only a few hundred dollars more from 8 years to 10 years. The 100 dollar deductible seems to be the sweet start. yes - all mileage and years start on the day you...
