So I THINK this might be the part for the rubber insert, not exactly sure which variant it is of these though to get the Black/XL version:

Don't get me wrong, I expected this for sure, but for it to be noticeable enough for multiple reviewers to call out was not quite what I expected. I don't have to beat everything off the line, but I do drive in enough rain / rough conditions that ultimately I'll probably be happier with an AWD...
I did initially have a hybrid on order, but I decided I'd like a bit more power, and I liked how the FWD Ecoboost was the lightest of all the models including the hybrid so my thought was that it would be the fastest. I've never bought a truck before, so I was assuming the FWD 2.0L Maverick...
It just got scheduled last week unfortunately. I knew some amount of wheelspin would be normal for a FWD truck, but to have multiple reviews call it out was enough for me to bail on it. Thankfully I'm in a position where I won't need a car until January so hopefully my new order will be ready by...
Seeing too many reviews mentioning the wheelspin on the FWD Ecoboost - from Car and Driver " massive, anti-social levels of wheelspin, even from a rolling start with the front-drive 2.0T" :(
I canceled my order and am deciding what to do next - will probably get an XL with AWD and tow package...
I’m one of the few who also bought a 2.0L FWD! I don’t expect you to do any 0-60 runs, but have you noticed any traction issues when punching it from a stop?
I’m getting a Bullet liner on mine. From what I’ve read it’s one of the founders of LineX who founded the company and “improved” the formula. I don’t know about that, but their quote was $400~ and it includes UV protection, so I can’t pass that up.
I'm in Atlanta, but i ordered from Chapman! I would love to figure out if/when any local dealers will have any stock units to check out. Maybe I should start calling around...
I'm very much hoping this is true. I don't mind the orange stitching or the trim on the air vents, but I'd love to swap out the orange inner door handle as well as the center console tray liner for a black version. I've been perusing Ford's parts site but haven't been able to figure out exactly...
That's converting to Imperial/UK mpg, not US mpg.
In US mpg, 9.6 L/ 100 km is 25 mpg.
(yes I wish we were using the metric system and this wouldn't be an issue!)
