I had a quick drain plug on my Buick Encore. It was convenient with the lever, it didn't drain fast enough for me, compared to removing the drain plug. I never change my oil when the engine is hot so that doesn't play into it at all.
Personal preference.
Like the Encore, if one was already...
So I'm not accused of derailing a thread😲 One of my threads got derailed by blueberries and tool cabinets. It's old men on the internet 💩 happens. I'm not going to call anybody out about it.
I will send any and all information I have to you via DM/PM.

I replace the drain plug gasket with a fresh one every time I change my oil.
I don't own a torque wrench.
I use my calibrated wrist to tell me what's tight enough.😉
🤔 How many layers of "plastic" are between the actual charger and your phone?
1. The plastic surrounding the charging element
2. The plastic of the console.
3. The plastic of the console liner.
4. You have the plastic of the phone cover.
5. And finally you have the thin plastic phone case...

I'd like to know if they got their Silverado back.🤷♂️
Important:
Do not tighten down on the screws hoping to get a snug fit of the cargo/stoplight housing against the roof.
It could Result in a Cracked Housing or Stripped Screws.
It's design is not to touch the roof. There is a rubber gasket underneath that touches the roof.
Good luck,

Terry,
That's exactly why "grabber rick" started this thread. He's tackling two different subjects at the same time.
But to say that this thread has been derailed is not true.
And I didn't do it.
There's nothing in this thread about a seven pin hookup for his 2K Maverick.
Now I do admit to...
No derailment in this thread.
Seven pin is a Different thread.🤷🏻♂️
Grabber Rick has two threads going. This one, about postings
https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/why-dont-new-posts-get-listed.81359/
And another one about his camper and seven pin connection...
Rick this is what it looks like when I display a page in all posts. I can see that I have read your post because it is no longer in bold print.
Your post will not show at all. If I display unread posts your post will not display at all.
Excellent DIY. Definitely something I might look into.
I occasionally use a seat protector that hooks on to the headrests when I watch my niece's dog.
It's all about convenience.
I like the view out the back without the headrest, I don't want the additional hassle of removing and reinstalling...
