I posted earlier that I thought I would be looking at a Easter Maverick. Who would have thought now that I would be hopeful for a Maverick before the summer.

I love the Shadow Black colour. I have a Black Civic and I honestly can’t understand why more don’t like it. I do like the Alto Blue and Dark Grey though.

At least you have a build date. Mine is Oct 10 Eco XLT Lux 360 tow moonroof and don’t even have a build date yet. So count yourself lucky you are even getting built.

I started off with Eco AWD XLT Lux with a moonroof in October. Since then added 4K tailgate locks and just this week added Co-pilot 360. Waiting the extra months is worth it if you plan on keeping it for like 10 years.

I ordered one. I love the extra light that comes in. The extra fresh air is also definitely nice. I can’t wait to get it when it comes in.

Sync3 or 4 standard on all models. No flip key, like come on we have cars that drive themselves and Ford uses a key lol. No defrost on rear window. I live in Canada its friggin cold up here and my windows freeze up.

I pre-ordered the Bak MX4 from Action Car & Truck. There were not many pre-ordered yet in Canada, only a handful, so if you want one I suggest getting on the list.

Oct 12 Eco AWD Lux 4K sunroof. Confirmed order but no build date yet. I will be happy if even gets built this year.

Can heated seats, heated mirrors, heated wiper park be dealer installed?

If it wasn’t so cold up here in Canada, I might consider dropping the Lux Pkg but unfortunately I hate winter so I guess I will just hurry up and wait.

Me too. It would be a very simple solution but I think the chip shortage is bigger than the SIBL.

My order is Oct 12 Eco Lux 4K Moonroof. I hope I get my order by close out. I think I’m right on the fence. Lets see which October orders fall.

I also have an October order date. I really hope my ‘08 Civic will last until the summer. I really don’t want to spend a lot to keep it going and would rather use it for a larger down payment.

So my recent conversation with my dealer reports that they are using the Maverick semi-conductor chips for all the parked F150-‘s. Sounds a bit sketchy to me but who knows. Does anybody have any insight on this?

I’m pretty sure Tim Bartz said changing your trim changes your order date and saying you can’t order an Eco you would have to wait for 2023 model.

I don’t know if I would have. I love the Maverick but the longer this goes and the more issues they have the more frustrating it is. This is my first new truck and it was very exciting. Not now so much.

With all the information from this forum and Tim from McArthur Ford, would you all have still ordered a Maverick if you knew how this was going to go?
