Thanks GPSman...that makes sense. Not going to worry, but I do try to conserve. When in EV coach and when it says electric...I find myself pumping then letting off of the "go" pedal. I guess I have turned it into a challenge.
I understand your frustration. It has not been a good rollout for the Maverick. Personally, I missed being able to order one, ( not looking for a truck when the order bank was open and I did not know about Mavericks then) What it comes down to is dealers (not ordered vehicles) can set the price...
I have only been on the highway for a few short times, maybe 4 miles and at 55-60. No noise or flapping. I would call it a very limited test. Maybe someone else will chime in on that topic for you.

Good for you. The difference is I never even knew about a Maverick truck until just a few months ago. Then I tried to get on, and you know the rest of the story. I can afford the one I got..even though the sealer-ship marked it up... a lot.
Installed the soft fold Tyger today, easy and quick. The folding joints are not perfect but still, not real bad. $239 and delivered in two days. Happy, and for a perfectionist, that is saying something.
