I will just add this 2 cents......its probably my only real complaint about the truck. Mine is the commons mans model XL but getting the truck warm on a cold day and getting it to stay comfortable is tricky for some reason. Its either too hot or not hot enough.......i will survive

I cant imagine seat heaters would harm the covers. They are made to withstand blazing sun so the seat heaters should be fine. I have had mine for 6 months so far and they are perfect. Very tough.
