I’ve noticed this as well. Going through a drive-thru has been bad a few times. When trying to creep up in line it takes off then doesn’t brake lightly—slams you to a stop like braking after a car wash.
Also notice the engine sputter a couple of times. Makes you think you’re driving over...
Why do you love showcase so much? I believe you posted it on mine one time and have seen you say it on many others. I never even knew showcase existed until you said it. Viewed it that one time and never since. Maybe it’s better from a PC but thought the format was clunky on mobile.
So I wanted to post before I forget. But I was able to get the Rok Block seal strip installed today. Install was pretty simple. The instructions are a lot more overwhelming than the actual install. I got tired of reading and just kind of did my thing — while still following the important steps...
What tint % did you go with on the front? Looks good.
Do you have any other pics from different angles showing off your hood deflector? Any noticeable hood-shake since as others mentioned and successful remedy?
This user happened to pose the same question around the same time…also has this issue.

Wow, that is crazy. I searched the website about this topic before I made basically the exact same post. Didn’t see anything and by the time I went out to get my pictures and typed up my post — you must have beat me to it.
I DO have this same gap on both rear doors. Also wondered about the...
I was curious of those out there that have their Maverick if this is normal or something I should have addressed by the dealer. I noticed it within the first day or two of ownership and it has just been making me wonder these first two weeks.
At the back top corner of each rear window it looks...
I have a Lariat Lux hybrid with about 1,100 miles on it and since day 1 have had a Carlinkit 3.0 wireless CarPlay dongle setup. Got it for around $60-65 on Amazon when it was on sale and also had a clipped coupon available. Have not had a single issue with it at all since I got the Maverick. In...
I didn't have issues with my transaction, but some things I learned along the way...neither of these are for debate of if it is right or not, just laying out potential things that could be encountered.
1) They "should" honor price protection and rates -- but as you've seen on here that's not...
I have the Ford hard trifold as well from the factory. I get a decent amount of soap and water in the bed during a carwash -- but I kind of expect that.
When it rains, I also get some leakage near the front sidewalls/corners and some through the tailgate corners. Unless I have something right...
Sounds like a Rav4 Prime could be a good fit for your needs. Obviously, it's easier said than done. But if you can take delivery of your Mav, sell the Mav for a little profit to go towards the higher cost of the prime, then when the Prime finally comes take advantage of the [up to] $7500 tax...
What is making you conclude that the Maverick is a theft 🧲 ?
Your salesman won’t be sad if you ‘cancel’ because it won’t get cancelled. He’ll be happy and sell it for way more. Better off to take delivery and sell it yourself and maybe make a couple thousand or so to put towards your pricier...
I ordered the combo of the ESI ROK BLOCK gap cover along with the ESI side tailgate seal stripping for like $47-50. I am yet to install it because I'm waiting for the temperature to be warmer but I see no reason why this solution wouldn't work for what you're looking to accomplish.
Hey now, I just became a dad less than 6 months ago and now you're saying I have a grandpa version Maverick. The grandpa version would be if they came out with a fancied up Lincoln branded Maverick lol
Mine had 55 miles on it if that makes you feel better. It got delivered on 3/24 and I picked it up after work on 3/25.....so not sure where the miles came from during the prep time. Maybe random testing at the factory site lol. However, I didn't really care either as I just wanted to get it home...
