FWIW. Mine came with the truck. Last summer, I pulled the guards off to do the suggested modifications, I did see minor damage beginning to appear. I couldn't see any paint issues until then, after they were removed.

Alot of folks (as I did) put on A/T's (all terrain) tires and be done. Good to go in the snow, mud, what ever you may run into.

I can imagine. I did mention my concern for that happening in my first post in another thread when it first happened to me. I too have the sunroof and have started putting the rain-x on it to help get the water off after I get rolling.

Yup, I panicked too and thought the transmission had a problem after reading about some of the trans issues on here.

The handy part of is, if you shut the vehicle off without putting it in Park, it'll put in Park for you. Found that ot by accident too 😆.

I changed mine out at 800 miles after I got a little black soot on my finger from the exhaust. Castrol 5-30 synthetic high mileage frame filter. No issues. Got 3,100 miles on it now.
