Everyone seems to be overthinking this. The whole length of the pinch weld should be strong enough to support the vehicle. It's a key structural part of the vehicle.
The embossed "arrows" indicate more for vehicle balance than anything. I checked mine '23 out thoroughly yesterday when I...
Thanks man!
The wheels are 19x8 from an Escape. I always loved the design and bought them more than a year ago anticipating they'd work. I did my homework because they fit perfectly.
After sandblasting and powder coating I could have bought a set of killer aftermarket wheels, but this is the...
How much do you think these can carry? And how much do you generally carry day-to-day? How much do you expect the truck to "squat" with a load, eight inches?
The fact is that the load carrying capacity is not affected, just the ground clearance. This doesn't make it any less capable, but does...

So roughly 2" front (Eibach claims 2.5") and 3 3/8" rear (Eibach claims 3.5").
(EDIT...
Nothing special, just a universal plastic one. I'll post pics when I get to it.
In the shop now getting ready to install coils. It has 12.1 miles on it, LOL.
This is why I live in the desert! Still, if I lived where it snowed I'd be lowered and deal with it. The reality is that it's higher than something like a Honda Accord, so it's still completely practical.
Thanks!
This will be my "build thread" page. 😁
