No, I found the cubbie box is a great place to store anything from Carmex, receipts, big box store cards or gift cards.. Anything for quick access that you don't want cluttering your open center console trays and not have to dig into the main center console void. I have a small LED flashlight in...
I purchases the 3D printed cubbie insert box and ball mount on Etsy from RefinedTruck. Love the box but when I mounted my iPhone XR in a holder to the ball mount it vibrated out and came falling to the center console; I then added a 3M command strip to the bottom of the box and although better...
I wonder if there is a report that shows how many of a specific Maverick have been built? I would like to know how many Oxford White Hybrid Mavericks have been built; even more so, how many White XLT, LUX, Co-Pilot 360 Hybrids.
"Insert Complaint Here"; The OEM ford splash guards have a sharp edge on the surface that touches the truck... 2000 miles later there is worn paint all the way down that edge, down to bare metal in spots. Fortunately, Ford customer service opened a case for me and seems willing to help. We shall...
UPDATE: Ford has now called me about the case # above. They tell me to go to my dealer and have the paint wear under the splash guards evaluated, then call 1-866-631-3990 and let the dealer speak to a Ford rep, then they will either try to repair the paint under warranty or open something called...
I transferred my LSN2ME plates to my Hybrid Maverick; I've had this same plate in three states, over 25 years, and countless vehicles.
Ironic that LSN2ME is now on a Hybrid... But my wife says it does fit my attitude still...
There is a user account on this forum named "Ford Motor Company" which you can search for. I then clicked on the user profile and then start conversation.
Here is what Ford replied concerning my report of the splash guards rubbing into our Maverick paint:
"I have created a case and had it sent to our Truck Team for further review. The Truck Team will have the resources needed to find out the cause of your Maverick's body damage and to determine if...
Yes, I have now contacted the FORD rep who shows up on this forum to report the issue. My dealership said accessories are not covered, but maybe if enough of us report the splash guards rubbing into the paint they will issue a TSB and help us.
Type in "Splash Guards" in the search and you will...
I will likely be returning them... Don't like how the hairs collect and get embedded into them; also the stitching already seems to be seperating after two months.
Attached as requested; Hair and fibers stick to them pretty good as you can see from my Chihuahua's hair all over the passenger side cover. I carry a lint roller. And you lose the passenger rear seat pocket.
Only solace here is this will be a manufactures paint/rust warranty item, unlike the OEM mud flaps rubbing the paint down to me bare metal which isn't covered.
Went to my dealer last Friday to ask what, if anything, could be done to fix this problem now; before it gets worse. Dealer said the warranty does not extend to accessories or damage caused by them.
They did suggest we all contact Ford Customer Service and report this issue and hopefully a TSB...
Just checked mine too.. Installed them myself at about 1000 miles, now have 4100miles.
The rears are worse than the front, but definitely eating into the paint.
Love Harbor Freight, for certain things, too. I have one of their $5 tool bags under the rear seat with my tie down straps and a set of their basic jumper cables behind the rear seat, just in case.
I just changed my Hybrid oil last Friday at 3100 miles, right before a 1400 mile road trip this weekend. Only reason I did is because my first oil change at my dealer was free, and the manual states "oil consumption reaches its nominal level after 3000 miles" pp303.
As stated above, can't hurt...
Very creative. For the cost of $225 why not just purchase an actual tonneau cover made for the Maverick? I got the Trident Fast Fold for $250.
