It also works as a wiring adapter if you replace the subwoofer in the B&O sound system. It connects perfectly to the plug that feeds that speaker. Just used it for that this weekend.

This is the only one I have experience with on the Maverick. It works great if you need some watertight storage but is only rated for 150lbs so I'm guessing it wouldn't work for what you need and probably isn't tall enough either.
