says EGR on the far right, looks like the smoked version they sell https://egrusa.com/products/hood-guards/super-guard-hoodguards/egr-superguard-hood-guard-smoke-finish-fits-2224-ford-maverick
@AbnRgr would you be able to draw up your circuit for a better image of how you've run from x fuse tap to engine compartment panel, back to sunglasses-mounted switch panel?
Yeah I got my extended service plan, wondering if I can make a claim on this issue but keep pushing it back, along with my window triggers' "metal" coating peeling off and some other little QA BS that annoys me but not enough
same here and I'm "still young" the app definitely helps make the "please just ****in' LOCK DAMNIT" a little easier as you can do it from anywhere you have connection. But it's a slow, cumbersome app - those poor Ford developers..
the tap your head trick works but I'm fairly confident there's a QA issue with factory antenna causing keyfobs to be extreme short range compared to others who have said it works through brick walls and titanium submarine plating. learned to live with it.
Yes, old app showed a horn/lights...
I've got one of those short range Mavericks too, seems to cap its distance at an arbitrary 20-50ft depending on how it feels on a given day. I tried an antenna extender add on to my VSS+ alarm however that appears to only work for the dedicated long range remote start fob, not the factory...
Let us know if you get it to work that way, and how! That's the ideal but not sure how to tell the BCM to run "low amp white mode" and only switch to full amperage for blinks
yeah sometimes mine will scream and other times I can barely hear it - not sure what causes that though - gonna watch this thread and see if anyone more clever chimes in. I know there's a seatbelt chime konami code-style deactivation method but haven't bothered myself, I like seeing the belts in...
Honestly I can't believe how unsafe and dangerous your choosing to drive on wheels that aren't exactly 35psi is, you should be ashamed and immediately turn your license in to the local DMV!!
funny how the literal Ford Motor Company account is just like "wow nice truck" meanwhile joe schmos over...
I'm curious to know if your Tremor's hill descent control function works/displays in that Explorer cluster. I bought an fx4 cluster for that function but like the look of the explorer 6"
you can buy the perimeter system and use the XL/XLT keyfob (no 2x) with Lock>Unlock>Lock combination, no Lariat keyfob needed. I recommend not bothering with the extended antenna as that does not work with the standard keyfob
and yet if they had gone to Steeda and had not made a post about their experience.... thanks @aspect for your report and thanks to @Harry's Humble Hitch & @Justin.23 for providing a potentially more reliable alternative.
