  1. First Camping trip with the Trailer!

Awesome! Should be good. Max weight of my trailer is 3750lb. Just watch the hitch weight. As once you add propane and battery a 300lb hitch weight is about 390lbs. I will be getting a LiFePO4 Lithium battery to replace the stock battery at some point. It's twice the capacity at half the weight...
  2. 2026 Maverick Hybrid AWD Improvements (Slip Test)

  3. First Camping trip with the Trailer!

Yes tent camping was fun. We had a big 10 person tent but when it rained or was cold it was not fun... Also setting up and taking it down was not fun and if it was wet you had to set it all back up once you got home. This past weekend was rainy on and off and cold but we still had a blast. It...
  4. First Camping trip with the Trailer!

Had our first camping trip with the Trailer this past weekend! The past few years we have been tent camping and it was time for an upgrade! What an awesome experience it was. We picked a close camp ground for the first trip to make sure everything worked with our new Trailer. It was only 20...
  5. I bought a 2026 Lariat Hybrid last week and I have a few thoughts and questions about it

Look into the Firestone Destination AT2 tires. They are very light weight for all terrain tires. I have them in 235/65 r17 and they are only 3-4lbs more than the stock tires. I lost only maybe 1-2mpg
  6. Upgraded to 245/60/18. A bit concerned

Wow that's a lot of rotational mass to move around. Probably going to kill your gas milage and hurt your acceleration with that weight. I went with Firestone Destination AT2 in 235/65 r17. They are only 4lbs more than stock and I notice no difference on my hybird.
  7. My new Lariat and camper rig up here in Ajax, Ontario.

The nice thing is the Mavericks wheel base is comparable to full size SUVs..
  8. Will we ever see a Maverick hybrid in Tremor form?

You can get close with the current AWD hybrid with 4k tow package. Get some good light weight all terrain tires and a 1.5 inch lift. I put Firestone Destination A/T 2s in 235/65 r17 on mine last spring and love it! We had a bad winter this year and my AWD hybrid with the ATs handled it like a champ!
  9. Replacing my Rav4 hybrid with a Maverick hybrid - I'm not sure what to do

Just put some good light weight all terrain tires on the current AWD hybrid and you will have a capable little Truck. It's what I did!
  10. Replacing my Rav4 hybrid with a Maverick hybrid - I'm not sure what to do

If you want the Maverick now go for it. Other option is since you have a new vehicle wait for the second gen Maverick that should be coming out around 28.

I have a 25 awd hybrid with 4k tow package. I tow a 3000lb(empty) 3750(max) travel trailer. So far its been great!
  13. Bed Mat over Spray in liner

Yes. I got the one from Ford. It stops stuff from sliding around.
  14. GPS Ripoff

Most people use their phones. These trucks have apple car play and android auto. Why would you pay Ford for gps usage.

Yes mine does the same thing anytime I put pressure on it to move around.
  20. Ford poised to own the last compact pickup slot in the US

I think the Maverick is still priced correctly. If I got a new XL Ranger and have it equipped like my XLT Maverick It would be about 10k more.
