I believe it is basically a garage door opener remote control. You need to program it to your door but no vehicle programming is needed. I don't have a garage so I am not sure on the specifics lol.
Edit: no longer available. Sold.
I have two from a '22 non-sync Maverick. I don't think it matters. A USB data line is a USB data line. The part number is obsolete. If you search it on Ford.Parts the newer number will return.
DM me if you are interested. $50 shipped.
I ended up with them when...
I had previously made a power take-off wire harness for an auto dimming rear view mirror. There are directions on this site with connector and pin part numbers but I can't seem to find it again. Alternatively, you can buy one on Etsy...
Direct replacement for a Lariat, XLT will need power. I made a harness to tap power from the center overhead light. "Hollywood" LEDs found in higher trim F150s. I don't even use these mirrors lol. Looks premium compared to the incandescent Lariat lamps.
Bonus: they have Homelink controls.
Like new lighted Maverick Lariat visors.
4 x OEM incandescent lamps
4 x Diode Dynamics single SMD LED replacement lamp
5 x Amazon 8 "SMD" LED replacements. 4 installed plus one extra.
More photos by request.
$150 shipped.
Keep wiggling it until it breaks free. I bought several puller styles, none of them worked, some damaged the wiper arm finish. I just wiggled and pulled and pulled and wiggled. All of a sudden it just let go. My 2 cents.
How has nobody mentioned this? This store makes many quality Maverick gadgets.

Good advice. I am not planning on buying either anytime soon. Just interested in people's opinions. Personally, given the choice I don't know which I would choose.
Super clean install. Only thing I would do differently is wrapping the entire length of the power and ground wire in weatherproof Tessa tape and rubber grommet where they enter the storage box. Make it look factory. I would think that large gauge bright red wire might draw unwanted attention...
I am an OEM true believer but a word of advice, switch to the maroon plastic inserts from Amazon. They are a perfect fit and work with the OEM screws. I went through one round of OEM replacement speed nuts at the cost of something like $30 and they all had rusted or broken by my next oil change...
