The mustero was built by a Ford dealership. They were used as flower cars as many other brands did the same thing. Google flower cars and look at what some dealerships and coach builders used lol. Such a waste of a good car..lol
I had a set for some other wheels that I thought would work and didn't. Then I measured the lugnut bore and figured out what I needed. Searched until I found some and they work perfect.
Yes, thats what the substrate is, the filtering media. I like the thicker metal because not every car has a shield on the bottom to protect the filter. Ive seen rocks hit inferior filters and grenade an engine.
Purolator is owned by Mann Hummel a German company. Btw they also own 90% of the oil filter market, including Wix. I run Wix on all of my cars, they have a better case and substrate.
