To keep the geometry correct. A lot of manufacturers pinch the front swaybar in the bushings. If they are too long/short it binds the front suspension and you will not get full travel. Makes taking turns sketchy.
I had the same whiteline links and they are too short, they are the same ones for a 11-14 mustang. Ive already swapped them out for Godspeed adjustables from 300mm to 360mm.
There are a ton of wheels out there. Look at other models that have the same bolt pattern. Bronco Sport, Range Rover, Lincoln just to name a few. Some online wheel sellers won't have much for the mav but will for the others. Thats how I found mine and then had them powdercoated the color I wanted.
I had this issue and it was the harness wasn't seated in the radio controller.. The harness is behind the hvac controls. I pulled mine out and reinserted it until it clicked. I haven't had any issues since.
A cheap vehicle like the maverick isn't going to get thorough wind tunnel testing like a gt40. They get it to a happy medium and call it good. There are some diffuser manufacturers that have done wind tunnel testing from compact cars to semis but no pickup trucks. That's the info I'd like to see.
If someone bought the ecoboost for mpg shame on them. lol. I get 28 to 31 mpg depnding on how i drive and i have only used 93 octane. Its a hot bitch down here.
